Chennai 07 July 2026 The phase of YouTubers emerging as winners on silver screens has become the most admirable thing in the Tamil film industry. With many incredibly proving their craftsmanship, the crew of ‘Mr. Bhaarath’ has kept the audiences hooked onto this project from its announcement. The fun-filled title glimpse announcement featuring Director Lokesh Kanagaraj – Producer of this film in a hilarious shade made everyone excited. With the film all set to enthrall the audiences soon in the theaters, both actor Bhaarath and Director Niranjan are elated to share their experience on creating this film.
A title is often the first identity of a film, and for “Mr. Bhaarath”, that identity comes with an interesting story of its own. The film was initially titled “Masterpiece”, but the makers later discovered that the title had already been associated with films in the Kannada and Telugu industries. Keen on giving the project a unique identity, they decided to look for a fresh title.
It was filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj who suggested “Mr. Bhaarath”, a title that instantly reflected with the team. However, carrying the legacy of Superstar Rajinikanth’s iconic blockbuster of the same name naturally brought with it a sense of responsibility. After obtaining the official No Objection Certificate (NOC) from AVM Studios, the makers were delighted to christen the film “Mr. Bhaarath.”
Presented by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Lokesh Kanagaraj, and Jagadish Palanisami, Mr. Bhaarath marks the arrival of six fresh talents, making it one of the most exciting debut ventures in recent times. The film introduces Bhaarath as the lead actor alongside Samyuktha Viswanathan, while also marking the directorial debut of Niranjan. The project further introduces Pranav Muniraj as music director, Bhavna Govardan as art director, Dhivakar Dennis as editor, and Samyuktha Viswanathan as the female lead, making it a collective debut for six passionate artistes and technicians.
Sharing his excitement, Bhaarath says, ”I have previously appeared as the hero’s friend in films like Prince and Love Today. Stepping into my first film as a lead actor itself is a dream come true, and what makes it even more special is that six of us are beginning our cinematic journey together through Mr. Bhaarath. I sincerely hope audiences embrace all of us with the same love and encouragement.”
Speaking about his character, he adds, “I play a Quality Check Officer in a toy manufacturing company. My character is extremely innocent—so innocent that he doesn’t even realise when a girl is expressing her love for him. He’s an orphan brought up by his grandfather, played by R. Sundarrajan sir. Audiences will also get to enjoy shades of Sir’s vintage humour through our relationship, which forms one of the emotional strengths of the film.”
The makers reveal that Samyuktha Viswanathan portrays a Toy Designer, whose difficult childhood and emotionally fractured family life shape her outlook on relationships. Her encounter with Bhaarath’s pure-hearted innocence forms the emotional core of this character-driven entertainer.
Written and directed by Niranjan, Mr. Bhaarath promises a refreshing blend of humour, emotions, romance, and relatable human relationships. Rather than relying on spectacle, the film places its faith in memorable characters and emotionally engaging storytelling.
The film features Bhaarath, Samyuktha Viswanathan, Bala Saravanan, Nidhi Pradeep, R. Sundarrajan, Linga, and Adithya Kathir in pivotal roles.
The technical crew comprises Om Narayan (Cinematography), Pranav Muniraj (Music), Dhivakar Dennis (Editing), Bhavna Govardan (Art Direction), Navaa Rambo Rajkumar (Costume Design), Suren G. & Azhagiyakoothan (Sound Design), Azhar (Choreography), Shyed Malik S (Makeup), Kannal V Kannan & Kannal S Gugan (Stunts), Aadhavan Subramanian(Associate Executive Producer), T. Selvaraj, Parthiban Selvam, Manjunathan (Production Executive), Kowshik KS (Colorist), Amudhan Priyan(Publicity Designs), Pradeep Boopathi M. (Creative Producer), and R.
