Actor Rio Raj Launches Maiden Production House – River Route Studios !

Chennai 02 March 2026 Actor Rio Raj proudly announces the launch of his maiden production house, River Route Studios, marking a significant new chapter in his cinematic journey. Known for consistently supporting fresh talent since the beginning of his career, Rio Raj has collaborated with several debut filmmakers and contributed to memorable and successful entertainers. With this new venture, he expands his creative horizons, reinforcing his passion for meaningful and engaging storytelling.

Sharing his excitement, Rio Raj says:

“This has been a long-cherished dream. I am deeply grateful to everyone who believed in me and supported my journey — my family, my parents, my friends from the film fraternity, and my press and media friends. Their constant encouragement and trust made me who I am today as an actor. That faith has now given me the confidence to embark on this exciting new venture. River Route Studios begins its journey with two promising productions, backed by esteemed investors Red Rock Pictures and Maali and Manvi Movie Makers.

*Project 1*

The first production will be directed by Kathiravan, with Sakthi Subramanian handling cinematography. The film’s music will be composed by Dev Prakash Regan, while Sundar takes charge of editing. Ram joins as the art director, Sridevi Gopalakrishnan as the costume designer, and Sugan will choreograph the stunt sequences.

This project brings together a dynamic and energetic crew, reflecting the banner’s commitment to delivering fresh, engaging, and technically strong cinema.

*Project 2*

The second project will be written and directed by K. Sivamuneswaran. K.G. Varun — known as the editor of Joe and Aan Paavam Polladhadhu — will be playing the lead role. Notably, he has previously appeared as a lead in a YouTube web series and also in an Independent film , marking an exciting transition into mainstream cinema.

Rahul KG Vignesh will serve as the Director of Photography, with Varun KG overseeing editing. ABR joins as the art director, Sridevi Gopalakrishnan will handle costume design, and Siddhu Kumar will compose the music.

This project further underscores River Route Studios’ vision of collaborating with talented technicians and storytellers, while also providing opportunities for emerging performers.
