21st Asian Masters Athletic Championship 2019 Winners Meet

The 21^st Asian Masters Athletic Championship 2019  was conducted from 2^nd to 7^th December,2019 at Kuching, Malaysia.

Nearly 2316 athletes from 28 Asian countries participated in the meet along with  India.  From Tamil Nadu almost 85 and from Chennai 39 members(24 women and 15 men)  participated.

The Chennai District Masters Athletic Association Honored the athletes who created a New Meet record and other Medalists of the Meet, on 15.12.2019 (Today) at Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium, Egmore .

Pramila R – F-35+ (Long jump), Shanthi S – F-40+ (Hammer Throw) created New record. The total number of Medals- 35

(Gold – 10, Silver – 36 and Bronze -9)

Nearly all the members from Chennai were in the Merit List. Their performance is very good and praiseworthy.

Director Suseenthiran graced the event with his presence and The Chennai District Masters Athletic Association President Mr.Shenbaga Moorthy presented cash award to both the women who created new Record.
