There are few films that arrive as an unheralded surprise and create the greatest impression, thereby remaining as evergreen entertainers in the watch list of movie buffs. RS Infotainment’s “Yaamirukka Bayamey” stands out to be an impeccable exemplification. The film released on May 9, 2014, had a noiseless release, but the scene soon became escalated with a lot and lots of positive reviews and acclaims spreading out like forest fires soon after the first show. A film based on the horror-mystery genre is declared as a ‘success’ if it manages to draw the audiences into its premise, especially the backdrop, where the story is set. Apparently, we all found ourselves more like a participant amidst the protagonists and other characters, who are involved in the fun-filled supernatural drama.
Producer Elred Kumar, RS Infotainment says, “Filmmaker Deekay’s witticism and the ability to chill the spines at unexpected points of time made the experience more enhanced. A film’s success isn’t merely labelled with the ratings and reviews, but it remains so much noticeable when the audience amused with a film recommends and brings their friends and families to cinema halls. Such happens to be the laudable success of “Yaamirukka Bayamey” that completes its 6th anniversary today (May 9, 2020). I thank actors Krishna, Oviya, Rupa Manjari, Karunakaran, Madhav Kannadasan, Mayilsamy sir and the entire team for making this film a special milestone for our production house. While our erstwhile productions like Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya and KO were big tickets involving bigger star-cast, technicians and production values, the success of YB enlightened us that audiences are always ready to spread out the red carpets for films with unique and engrossing contents irrespective of what the budget is. Filled with more hopes, we have now started working on the initial stage of preparations for Yaamirukka Bayamey 2 and will make official announcements soon.”
Currently, RS Infotainment has teamed up with National award-winning filmmaker Vetrimaaran for a new film, which will go on floors shortly.
