Diljit Dosanjh Records for Kantara Chapter 1 Album – A Musical Union Blessed by Shiva’s Grace !

Chennai 13 September 2025 National award–winning actor-singer Diljit Dosanjh has joined hands with director-actor Rishab Shetty for the music album of Kantara Chapter 1.

Sharing a heartfelt note on Instagram, Diljit recalled how deeply the original Kantara moved him:

“With Big Brother @rishabshettyofficial – salute to this man who made the masterpiece Kantara. I have a personal connection with this film which I can’t tell, but I remember when the song Varaha Roopam played in theatres, I cried in so much ecstasy.”

The acclaimed artiste further expressed his excitement for the upcoming prequel, releasing October 2, and thanked composer B. Ajaneesh Loknath for the creative exchange, saying he “learnt a lot in just one day” with him.

This powerful collaboration between Diljit Dosanjh and Rishab Shetty promises to add a fresh musical dimension to the much-awaited Kantara Chapter 1, produced by Hombale Films.

Kantara Chapter 1 hits theatres worldwide on 2 October 2025.
