‘Paramasivan Fathima’ directed and produced by Esakki Karvannan, starring Vimal, speaks about hurdles posed by religions to love !!

Chennai 01 December 2024 Esakki Karvannan, the filmmaker behind the critically acclaimed movie ‘TamilKudimagan’, which starred Director-Actor Cheran in the lead role, is producing and directing a new film under the banner of Lakshmi Creations. Titled ‘Paramasivan Fathima’, the film stars Vimal in the lead role and focuses on a theme of how religions pose hurdles to love even in this modern era.Earlier referred to as ‘Production Number 7’, the film depicts the lives of two communities from a hill village who are affected by the policies and ideologies of their respective religions. The movie explores, in an engaging and non-preachy manner, how religious issues impact the lives of the people in these communities.

‘Paramasivan Fathima’ features a talented ensemble cast, including Vimal in the lead role, with Chayadevi, M. S. Bhaskar, Manoj Kumar, Sri Ranjani, Athira, Aruldoss, Cool Suresh, Kadhal Sukumar, Veerasamar, and others in key roles.

The film is cinematographed by Myna Sukumar, with music composed by Deepan Chakravarthy. Esakki Karvannan has written and directed the movie. The final leg of the film’s shoot is currently underway, with high-energy scenes being filmed.

The production team has confirmed that the shooting of ‘Paramasivan Fathima’ will conclude soon, and further official announcements, including the title of the film, will be made shortly.
