Wayfarer Films’ ‘Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra’ Tamil Nadu Release by AGS Cinemas !

Chennai 15 August 2025 ‘Lokah – Chapter One: Chandra’, the seventh production from Dulquer Salmaan’s Wayfarer Films, will have its Tamil Nadu release through AGS Cinemas. The film will hit theatres as an Onam release. Starring Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in the lead roles, Lokah is written and directed by Dominic Arun. The film has been made on a grand budget. Chandra is the first film in a superhero cinematic universe titled Lokah. Kalyani Priyadarshan plays a superhero character in the film. This is the first part of a cinematic universe that will unfold over multiple instalments. The movie will also be released on EPIQ screens across South India.

The first-look poster and teaser of Lokah had garnered impressive attention from the audience. The stunning visuals and magnificent music in the teaser sparked widespread discussion on social media. The teaser also hinted that the film is set against a backdrop never before seen by Malayalam audiences. Featuring Chandu Salim Kumar, Arun Kurian, and Shanti Balachandran in pivotal roles, the film is eagerly awaited with high expectations from viewers.
