Chennai 19 December 2024 I made my debut as a music director in the Tamil film industry with Veyil. My first and formost thanks go to directors Shankar and Vasanthabalan for giving me the opportunity to score music for this landmark film. It was after scoring for Veyil that I got the opportunity to score music for several other films.

I have been blessed with opportunities to score music for several films featuring the leading stars from the film industry such as Rajinikanth,Ajith,Vijay,Vikram, Suriya,Dhanush, Silambarasan T R,Prabhas,Ravi Teja,Siddharth,Karthi, Arya, Vishal,Jayam Ravi,Sivakarthikeyan,Dulquer Salman,Ram Pothineni,Atharva ,Raghava Lawrence,Arun Vijay,Bharath,Pasupathy .For this, I need to thank several directors including Vasantabalan, A L Vijay, Pushkar – Gayathri, P Vasu, Vetrimaran, Selvaraghavan, Dhanush, Sudha Kongara, Bharathirajaa, Atlee, Hari, Simbudevan, Bala, Cheran, Samuthirakani, Muthaiah, Adhik Ravichandran, Manikandan, Sam Anton,Pa Ranjith, M Rajesh, Mithran R Jawahar, Thankar Bachan,

I am immensely thankful to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, director and actor Anurag Kashyap and to all the musicians and techinicians who have worked with me.

At a time when I was longing to score music for a film featuring actor Kamal Haasan sir, I got the opportunity to score music for ‘Amaran’, a film that was produced by him. I was thrilled to bits when Kamal sir, after listening to the score and the songs of the film, appreciated me.

Apart from being a music director, I have also rendered several songs as a singer. I wish to thank the music directors, producers and directors who gave me the opportunity to sing these songs. I also thank my fellow musicians and fans who made these songs a success.

My journey, which began in the year 2005, has culminated in this moment in 2024 wherein I have got the opportunity to score the music for my 100th film. I have reached this landmark number of 100 by scoring music for the upcoming, yet-to-be-titled film of director Sudha Kongara, whose ‘Soorarai Pottru’ fetched me the National Award.

I take this moment to thank directors, producers,musicians ,Singers, Lyricists, actors, actresses and technicians who gave me opportunities in this consistent journey, that has lasted over 19 years, and also mediapersons, who have always supported and continue to support me to this day.

I intend to continue working diligently as a music director, actor and singer and express my heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all those who have extended support to me.
