Director Srinath Rajendran’s ‘Kurup’ starring Dulquer Salman

One of the most anticipated movie from mollywood “Kurup” should have released on the big screen this week, none the less Dulquer has rolled out a festive gift in the form of second look poster for the movie.
After the second show, Dulquer’s debut film, the director of the same Srinath Rajendran and Dulquer are reuniting for this mega project with a budget of Rs 35 crore.

The second look poster of Srinath Rajendran’s ‘Kurup’ starring Dulquer Salman is out. Dulquer’s poster came as a surprise to fans. The poster features Dulquer as “kurup”in a stylish get-up with a coat and cooling glass. The film drawing inspiration from the life of the infamous fugitive Sukumara Kurup should have reached the theaters at this festival season. But the release of Covid 19 has been postponed.

In his career this is the biggest budget mollywood movie that dulquer has ventured into. Dulquer has produced the same under his banner Wayfarer Films along with M Star Entertainment. The movie was extensively shot in various parts of India (Kerala, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Mangalore and Mysore) and UAE. The story and dialogues for the movie is by Jithin K Jose and written by Daniel Sayooj Nair and KS Aravind. Nimish Ravi is the cinematographer and Sushin Shyam is the music director. Shobhitha Dhulipala is the heroine of the movie. The film also stars Indrajith Sukumaran, Sunny Wayne, Shine Tom Chacko, Vijayaraghavan, P Balachandran, Surabhi Lakshmi and Sivajith Padmanabhan. Praveen Chandran Chief Associate Director, Vignesh Kishan Rajeesh, Sound Design.
